Berkline

The Berkline Company began in 1928. Although Berkline discontinued operations in March 2011, we continue to have most of the replacement parts you need.  Berkline used a vast number of electrical systems over the years, but we have the actuators, power supplies, and recessed controls for the power recliners and theater chairs, made by the very same components vendors, Hubbell Special Products and Okin, they used when the chair was originally made.

The parts we have on hand are for the basic up and down and lift and recline functions without the heat and/or massage. Please note that while parts for chairs with heat and/or massage are readily available for newer model chairs, there are several variations.

Best Home Furnishings

Started in 1962, Best Home Furnishings (Best), is a family-owned business which is growing to become one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the world. Best used electrical components manufactured by Hubbell Special Products from the beginning until mid-1990’s. From there on, they have used electrical components manufactured by Okin.

The parts we have on hand are for the basic up and down and lift and recline functions without the heat and/or massage. Please note that while parts for chairs with heat and/or massage are readily available for newer model chairs, there are several variations.

Catnapper

Catnapper, manufactured by Jackson Furniture Company which is one of the largest family-owned furniture enterprises in the USA, used electrical components manufactured by Hubbell Special Products from the beginning until mid-1990’s. Since then, they have used electrical components by several other manufacturers that we carry.

Ciar Parts

Ciar Parts manufactures linear actuators (motors), power supplies, and cables for motion furniture. They are a leading designer and manufacturer of motion systems for the motion furniture industry.

Costco/Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club

Some of the most popular retailers have sold several different models of lift chairs over the years, including, more recently, chairs with heat and massage functions. Economically priced, chairs like Home Meridian and Tranquil Ease, offer features similar to other manufacturers.

Dewert

Dewert Motorized Systems manufactures DC motors, handsets and control systems for power furniture throughout the world.  In the US, Dewert’s provided parts for Pride Mobility Products including building a motor designed exclusively for Pride.

Golden Technologies

Golden Technologies started making lift chairs in the mid-1980’s and manufacturers over 40 different models and styles of lift chairs. Golden Technologies used electrical components manufactured by Hubbell Special Products from the beginning until mid-1997. After 1997, they have used electrical components created by Okin.

Search Golden Technologies to find parts that you need for your particular chair. Or, if you know when your chair was manufactured, search Hubbell for chairs made before 1997, Okin for lift chairs made after.

Home Meridian International

Home Meridian International makes several models of lift chairs, however, their primary chair is a heat and massage model that they sell through their own outlets and through retailers like Costco, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club.

Hubbell

Hubbell Special Products was the manufacturer of choice for motorized lift systems from the 1980’s until it discontinued operations in October 2008. We have a limited number of component parts, but feel free to contact us for availability.

Please note, part number MS-1000, a replacement motor, is being used by a major chair manufacturer and is a perfect fit for the Hubbell MC-42 in lift chairs.

La-Z-Boy

La Z Boy Incorporated is one of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the United States. For their lift chair line, they have used a wide array of electrical component combinations. Most of the electrical components are made by Okin and Dewert and replacement hand controls have been manufactured by InSeat.

Currently we are unable to source parts for lift chairs manufactured in the last year, however, we have a wide array of parts for chairs manufactured before 2018.

Med Lift & Mobility

Med Lift & Mobility began in 1984 using electrical components manufactured by Hubbell Special Products. Since the early 1990’s, they have also offered, as an option, electrical components made by Okin.

Okin Parts

Since 1986, Okin has provided high-quality furniture actuators and adjustment systems. Today, Okin has become the leading partner for the both the furniture and medical industries.  Because of their product dependability, most major lift chair manufacturers either have Okin listed as an optional upgrade for their chairs or have made Okin their standard lift system.

Pride

Founded in 1986, Pride is a leading global provider of lift chairs. At their start, Pride used Hubbell Special Products motors and hand controls for their lift chairs.  Later, they started using a Dewert Motorized Systems motor designed exclusively for Pride. More recently, they changed to using Okin parts for their chairs.
